12/19/2005 - IPOWER Celebrates Headquarter Relocation to Phoenix

Phoenix Mayor and Vice-Mayor speak at event

Phoenix, Ariz. (December 9, 2005) -- IPOWERWEB, Inc., (www.ipower.com) a leading Web site hosting provider for small businesses, celebrated the relocation of its headquarters to its Phoenix facility on Friday, Dec. 16. Phoenix Mayor Phil Gordon, Phoenix Vice Mayor Michael Johnson and IPOWER CEO Thomas Gorny spoke at the event and were a part of the official ribbon-cutting ceremony.

IPOWER, with additional offices in Santa Monica, Calif. and Los Angeles, has been in the process of renovating its Phoenix office facility at 919 E. Jefferson St., moving its executive team to its new headquarters and building its Phoenix infrastructure throughout 2005. With the major part of these efforts completed, IPOWER is looking forward to exciting plans for future growth opportunities in Phoenix, which will include a fully-functional data center and even more employment opportunities for residents in the Phoenix community.

"This has been a great year for us," said Thomas Gorny, CEO of IPOWER. "Besides the great upgrades we have made to our Phoenix facility, we have launched a variety of exciting new products and offers, and have created more than 80 new jobs in our Phoenix location. Now that the groundwork has been put in place, we can't wait for the future growth and success we know next year will bring."

"It is appropriate that the fifth-largest Web site hosting company has come to the fifth-largest city," said Mayor Gordon. "We are going to help you get to number one." Vice Mayor Johnson, who is also Councilman for Phoenix's District 8, stated: "We are very pleased that IPOWER has relocated to the downtown section of District 8. I am especially committed to seeing this company grow and become more involved in the Phoenix community."
