Kenya Green Coffee Corporation has brewed up a pretty great web site. KenyaGreenCoffee.com showcases the company’s offerings in a comprehensive way that has helped the company’s brand as well as boost coffee bean sales.Kenya Green Coffee is the leading distributor and marketer of the finest specialty Kenyan-grown green coffee. The company works directly with the coffee farmer cooperatives back home. The company works this way in order to try to improve the socio-economic conditions of the lives of the Kenyan coffee growers. On the web site, there is a gallery section with pictures of the actual coffee farms in Kenya. These pictures allow people to really understand how the people of Kenya work and live.

According to Martin Kabaki, VP of Sales and Marketing for Kenya Green, two features have really boosted sales through the site – ecommerce and email marketing.

Before Kenya Green added ecommerce, sales from the website comprised about 8 percent of the company's total. Once the company added ecommerce, online sales boosted to about 15 percent of all company sales. The ecommerce features are available to all registered users of the site.

Email marketing was added recently and doubled sales for the company. "It is working wonders for us," says Kabaki. "Every time we ship in a new coffee or we have something new to tell our customers, we just send out single colorful group email to reach all our existing and potential customers. This has given our company a positive image, brand recognition and more business."

Kabaki also says that having a host like IPOWER has helped his business succeed. "We are so happy and comfortable with IPOWER and we would never try any other hosting service," he adds, noting that he appreciates the features IPOWER offers and the helpful customer service.

As for the future, Kabaki is looking towards more success through his search engine optimization efforts. However, the results have already been impressive. He notes: "We now have a high ranking on Google and every day we get at least two or three serious leads that eventually convert to sales."
